Young Builders is a hands-on carpentry workshop designed for children aged 8–12. Spread over four Saturdays, this program introduces basic woodworking skills while encouraging creativity, responsibility, and teamwork. Children will learn how to design and build their own small projects in a safe, supportive, and small-group environment.
PROGRAM
This 4-day learning program takes place over four Saturdays and follows the full building process from start to finish:
Let your kids discover the joy of building with their own hands in a safe, creative, and fun environment!
-
Meet the Tools: Kids get to explore carpentry tools and materials while learning workshop safety the fun way.
-
Dream It, Draw It: From first drawings to real plans — children design their own project.
-
Measure, Build, Create: Hands-on assembling, measuring, and learning basic construction techniques — turning ideas into real creations: building confidence, autonomy and trust.
-
Guided Support: Each child receives individual guidance and encouragement, so they feel confident every step of the way.
-
Finishing Touches: Paint, decorate, or add details — then reflect on the experience of building their very own carpentry project (maybe a cozy birdhouse!).
-
Learn to Care: Cleaning up and taking care of tools becomes part of the adventure — learning responsibility without it feeling like chores.
Perfect for curious kids who love to create, explore, and have fun!
